DJLADYLOVE is a First Generation Hip Hop Pioneer female DJ.

Born in The Bronx and raised in Queens NY DJLadylove started out as an Soul, RNB & Disco DJ. But in 1978 a new style of DJing was forming and after meeting her mentor Davy DMX and DJ Sexy was born. She expanded from doing small parties to Playing at Queens Famous Disco Known as The Fantasia where she met DJ Woody Wood who convinced her to change her name to DJ Ladylove.

She went on to play with some of the biggest acts of the time, Infinity Machine, The Disco Twins, Grand Wizzard Theodore, The Crash Crew, GrandMaster Flash and The Furious 5, Special K of The Treacherous 3 and Dougie Fresh.

Moving to Seattle,WA in 2019 was a life changing move for DJLADYLOVE ,but she hit the ground running.

She joined the 206Zulu and began working with The Museum Of Pop Culture (MOPOP).

DJLADYLOVE has also worked closely with station KEXP-FM for their 50 yrs of Hip Hop Podcasts, Doing guest spots with 2 of their Hottest DJ's, SUPREME LAROCK & VITAMIN D.
